Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the Contue team (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Contue Mac app, the Contue iPhone app, Contue Cloud and the getcontue.com website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Contue consists of a Mac app, an iPhone app and a cloud service for managing work as issues that you and the AI agents you connect can read and update. The Service is under active development, and features may be added, changed or removed. We will notify you in advance of any change that removes a feature you have paid for.

3. Your account

• You sign in with a code sent to your registered email address. You are responsible for keeping that email account secure; anyone with access to it can sign in to your account.
• Each account is for use by one person only. The Service is designed for professional use and is not directed at children under 13.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by agents you connect to it.

4. Your content

You own the content you create in your issues. You grant us permission to store, copy, transmit and process that content only as necessary to provide the Service to you — for example, syncing it to your devices, making it available to agents you connect, and generating summaries you request. We claim no other rights in your content.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to break the law, store or share content you have no right to handle, distribute malware, attack or overload the Service, or access other people's accounts without authorization. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Free and paid plans

• The free plan and each paid plan include the cloud storage shown on the pricing page. Paid plans also include daily backups retained for 30 days.
• Paid plans are sold by our reseller Creem, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Creem's buyer terms also apply to your payment. Whether prices include tax depends on where you live.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly, quarterly or yearly period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and your plan remains active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If we change a price, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal.
• If you exceed your storage limit or a paid plan ends, you may be unable to add new content until your usage is back within the limit. We will not delete your content for this reason without notifying you by email at least 30 days in advance, and you may export your content at any time.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms; except in cases of serious violation, we will warn you first and give you an opportunity to export your data.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and your data secure, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We recommend that you keep your own copies of any content you cannot afford to lose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

11. Changes to these Terms

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without affecting any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
